When a gallery sells an artwork on Artsper, as a professional entity it commits to delivering an artwork that matches the description given on the website, and to provide a sales invoice (that specifies the price of the artwork and the delivery costs to be paid by the buyer).
Click here for more details on invoicing.
Similarly, if an artwork is offered for sale with a certificate of authenticity (from the artist, the gallery, or a third-party), you must provide one.
We strongly recommend that you include the certificate of authenticity and the invoice in the same package as the artwork. Collectors pay close attention to these two documents.
Please be aware that you will also be required to upload the certificate of authenticity and the invoice to your back office, in pdf format, when you confirm the delivery.
It is one of the mandatory steps you must take before you can finalise the sale and receive payment.
